I’m no mathematician, but that’s about $440K for every human who
inhabits this utopia. My guess is this plan will have little traction
outside of petro-states. Perhaps the UAE might be better off spending
their money on improving the conditions of the South Asian migrant
workers who’ll likely build this micro-city. I’d take Human Rights
Watch certification over Platinum Leed any day.
