As a resident of Edmonton, I really hope that our provincial government can show some leadership and vision for once and make this happen….within a decade. I’m not holding my breath though as they always seem to find a reason to be complacent.By the way, “berli, fresh french”. Great job, France. In Canada, we had our first venture into high-speed trains in 1968 – over a decade before France – we were a world leader – but we promptly and continuously allowed political misdirection on several levels devolve our transportation system to the point where we have virtually no REGULAR train service for Canadians, especially out west where distances between centres are greatest.
