I actually enjoyed reading your post! And, I fully agreed with you!! The problem with looking for true and real people is that we are talking about politicians, which don’t seem to know the meaning of the words.

I’m glad that a few people are able to see past Obama’s celebrity image to the person behind it. I agree that fanaticism is the last thing that we need. Isn’t that what we are fighting against in Iraq? No dictators here, please.

You need to dig a little deeper into what communities Obama is assisting and who’s education he is wanting to stump for. Unless you are black, you are not someone that he is HONESTLY interested in. Read up on his past senate voting record. Read the truth. Then open your mind.

If you can believe that in 20 years, he has never heard his pastor say the things he is saying, then you are a fool. According to tapes made, and available, by Jeremiah Wright, of his past sermons, his message has always been the same. The poor mistreated, black person, so cruelly used by the rich white man. Obama is a liar and just trying to cover his own political a**. Maybe instead of just listening to what Obama says, you should look at what he has done. He moved to Chicago, because it had the largest population of blacks per district, thus guaranteeing that he would win politically with his bs, because he is black. Basically every major issue that he has voted for has been connected to black society. So, unless you are black and wanting not only the rich, but all white people to pay for real or imagined crimes, you might want to reconsider your vote.

I am also of the over 40’s group, and I agree that a large percent of the people that seem to be chanting, (and panting), after Obama are of a younger group. But, one way or another, they will learn life’s lessons. I don’t disagree with change, per se, but I have learned to be more particular about the changes that I ask for. The main thing that bothers me about the whole Obama thing is that obviously, none of these people have checked into his past voting record, as a senator. If they did, they wouldn’t vote for him.

The democrats have been in power for the last two years and things are much worse than they were. What happened to all of the changes that the Dems promised two years ago? Many more Democratic changes and we will all be jobless, homeless and broke!!

You think it is easy to get into Annapolis? It doesn’t matter WHO you are related to, you have to get in on your own merits and intelligence. As far as dummies, you fit the picture quite well.
