Bio

I was born and raised in small-town Bridgeton, NJ. I am journeying through life trying to achieve my American dream of ensuring all children receive a quality education while linking with other individuals to fulfill this common mission. For the past couple years,as part of Teach For America, I've taught at a K-8 charter in New Orleans, LA. Recently, I've relocated to Washington, DC to become a founding teacher at a DCPS turnaround elementary school. Finally, I describe myself as a humanitarian. I see the world as it is and work towards creating the world as it should be for all people. I never just accept the current reality as concrete; it is constantly evolving. I believe that one can either work to positively control that change or be led by those who dare to do the former.
