- I am a mother of 2 little boys, one who just started 1st grade... and one that is almost 3. I am shocked at what is expected of my 6 year old son, he is a smart little man, but he is falling behind, the standards are so out of control. Do we want our little ones to fall in love with learning or feel stress in 1st grade?
