Once you hit the hypervitaminosis (vitamin poisoning) phase, you really know you have a problem. Sounds like you caught it in one of the early phases, like fruit binge. I was a “chewer” (chewable vitamins as a mid day snack) “Flintstones”, “Shamu and his Crew”, “Scooby doo”, “vita balls” all were my vice. The 28 day program at Malibu Pines is amazing. Say hi to Steve for me, (vitamin C, orange skin) he’s cool.

I don’t see anything wrong with the “re-writing” jab Roger made. If it were the Daily Show, people would handle it the way it was intended… a chuckle. Humor is tricky to understand for some people I guess. <- that was a joke too :)

Those Sea Kittens look delicious. :pThough if Finding Nemo didn’t turn kids away from fish what makes them think this lame fake renaming will do anything but make themselves look dumb.

Every time I see the “reuse movement” clip, I want to see “more good things”. But seriously I’m totally down with the container homes. Designing one myself.I always heard that during an avalanche you should try to swim with the debris, and almost surf down the mountain… if you’re superman I guess (that would be amazing).

Anonymous: I don’t think its a matter of “learning” how to attack other trees but perhaps matter of taste preference? There are other reasons they attack some trees and not others. For one they do tend to attack already weakened trees with some sort of damage. Maybe because the tree’s natural defense of releasing sap to kill/stop the beetles could be impaired. Also the “blue fungus” the beetles carry block the trees from producing said sap. They are crafty little buggers.
