Obama’s Peace Prize Win: Merited, or Politics As Usual?

  • and said:

I don’t think that he deserves it.  I voted for him and so far I do like what he is doing, but he hasn’t really done anything that I would consider especially significant in world changing matters.  He has only just started to get health care talked about, the economic recovery is looking like it is going to take longer than thought, and the pull out of troops in Iraq is looking like it might be having a set back in the very near future.

Maybe the Road Itself Can Charge Your Car

I still think that it would be better to just charge up at one’s home because the efficiency would be much better. granted 90% is good, but eventually every little bit will help

The Military’s Awesome New Trash Disposal System

  • and said:

I’m wondering what is being put out, because the other gases that get get burnt have to go somewhere.  Will this be able to be a good thing for the environment as well as being able to provide power.  Granted, the trash would normally end up the same way, but would the decrease in land use balance out the extra gases being put out?

We’re Paying More Attention to the News These Days

  • and said:

I’m just glad that more people are paying attention to what is going on.  Now we just have to wait and see if it actually starts to sink in and people start to think more rationally.  Maybe someday instead of resorting to shouting about why people are wrong, we will listen to what they have to say and make a reasonable conclusion about what is best.  Maybe, someday.

We’ve Run Out of Planet for the Year

  • and said:

Wow.  I figured that this would eventually happen but we definitely need to find a way to either have another big war, get a good disease going, or eat some babies.  I hear that eating babies will help get the crowding down as well as be a good source of food to help alleviate the cost making families more able to meet the other needs that they have
