It seems many governments (UK, China etc.) view the ISP as their gateway to control. They don’t know how ISP’s will control what we see or do but they are going to legislate to see that they do. They will use fear of terrorism, piracy and criminality to justify removing internet freedoms. As it says in the vid we are lucky to have been around in this early phase of openness. It’s our responsibility to make sure  those who come after have the same kinds of freedoms we have enjoyed. An open internet is better for humanity but definitely not better for a whole heap of really rich vested interests who know how to play the political game.If we don’t fight  for our rights we will soon find that the very notion of an Open internet is a myth. How we fight effectively  to keep  the internet open though I’m not so sure.
