Al-Jazeera English: The Image Problem

I remember when Al Jazeera English I wanted to watch it as a news junkie, but I was fearful that the US government would view me viewing it — via http://www.jumptv.com — as a concern. The American propaganda machine worked well on me.
Al Jazeera English is a great channel, and I appreciate hearing news from other parts of the world that other news organizations virtually ignore. Further, the news magazines like Listening Post and Witness are wonderful. I hope that it gains more carriage in the US.
