I always found it sad that so much culture was taken away from Cambodia after the war. The country that my parents remember will never be again. When I saw that Miranda July was in the latest issue of Good, I immediately scoured the entire magazine for her name. Even though it wasn’t a short story or an interview, I was still quite content with what I found. “The Thing” is an amazing idea and am thrilled that the first package are words by Miss July.
