- i am a photographer, designer, and small business owner. a few years ago, i founded "annie O" which is a socially responsible business which works directly with remote artisan communities. i work closely with women run cooperatives in Nepal, Peru and eventually Colombia, to create a more modern line of accessories, inspired by traditional craft. the mission behind annie O. is to empower women, create a sustainable income, support fair trade practices, and create a brighter future for these talented artists. i strive to create a win win situation and change the way we often look at business. it should be a tool for change.
