About aostrogorsky

Aostrogorsky is a editor living in Moscow, Russia.

I work as an editor at the weekend supplement to Vedomosti, leading Russian business newspaper, established in cooperation with The Financial Times and The Wall Street Journal. I am also an editor at Interni-Russia magazine, son of the famous Italian architecture and interior design magazine. In both cases my work is about producing materials on architecture and design, but I have worked as a business reporter for 5 years before.

That’s great, thank you! What do you think – are these people at airoots.org right when call Dharavi a ’self-generating post-industrial city’ (which sounds as something cute, instead of sounding awful as it looks)?

Perfect! I like the meta-schmeta-introduction that Mark made about his duties as a column writer. I am not sure wheather we have all kinds of reduplication in Russian, but you can hear schm reduplication quite often, which, I believe, has Western European, Yiddish origin.
