- I'm a VISTA working with an organization called Year Up. Year Up works to bridge the opportunity divide by guiding students through a one year intensive learning and development and apprenticeship program focused on professionalism and information technology. I have experience in organizing on all levels for a variety of issues and find it difficult at times to stay away from politics even as a VISTA. I enjoy backpacking but never have the time and reading for pleasure but also fail to have the time. I've been involved in a number of different social justice causes and really make an attempt to be an active citizen all the time. I want to pursue a law degree and practice civil rights law to help those who can't afford proper representation.
