Bio

On a warm March afternoon in Phoenix, AZ , Eduardo L. Rivera was born. For the first half of his life, he spent his childhood days in a south central public housing sector where he currently returns to document the culture and the individuals. Rivera studied Photography at Arizona State University under Guggenheim fellows Betsy Schneider, Mark Klett and former George Eastman House curator William Jenkins. Aside from his U.S. based work, he has worked in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil where he plans to produce a book of his photographs. On his spare time, Rivera indulges in homemade cheesecake and reminisces about the good ol' days with friends and family.
