Just because you are technologically advanced doesn’t mean that the rest of your generation is. There are exceptions to every generalization, stereotype, etc. You just happen to be an exception. You should proud of yourself, not insulted.

I am a young person, very interested in what’s going on the world. Though I agree with the article that a lot of my generation isn’t. They are (generally) really focused on themselves and what directly affects them. Which happens to not include world-suffering, war, etc. That’s why we are more and more being referred to as the “me generation”. We are taught that we are special in preschool to build self-esteem, but there is never an end to that teaching.
Luckily, there is enough young people who care, who really care, and aren’t afraid to make a difference, to make this country better. You need not worry too much about the future, but don’t ruin what chances we have.
Vice was mentioned in the article, though it wasn’t given its own spot. At least it got mentioned.
“Hell Yes” and “Fuck No” on a bright yellow background certainly grabbed my attention.
“Give gov’t the finger” is a great line, love it.
