I, along with everyone else with half a brain, would love a cleaner world to live in. However, the reality of the situation is a sad one. While it is nice to be creative in one's inventions of ways to help the environment, it must be known that talking about helping the environment and doing so are two different things overlooked by many.



I get excited when I hear about more energy efficient products or new "organic" alternatives as I am sure other do. The problem is, the modern conveniences most of us have grown up with make it difficult to change. It's great when someone decides to make a change in lifestyle but 9 times out of 10, in a week, they will be right back where they started, throwing away paper cup after paper cup and filling up there range rover after work on Friday. Therefore, I believe the problem isn't in the creativity and execution of new ideas, but in the wide use of those ideas for long periods of time. If we could fix ourselves, then we could fix the world and not the other way around.
