Very interesting and well written article. I will probably never have the opportunity to take this cross-country train trip, but I feel like I experienced a bit of the journey through this writer. The video compliments the well researched and very informative feature nicely. Thanks. I am going to now get the GOOD subscription that I haven't gotten around to (hoping maybe even a longer version of this article will be there).

Have you taken the time to research the profiles of the dead Virginia Tech college students/professors before you make your uninformed, unfeeling comments? Obviously not! You speak from an ignorant place.

These college students and professors were from many different racial backgrounds....they were not all "white"!
