Learning about the Designers Accord has made me a little optimistic about corporations and how they deal with environmental responsibility. Whenever I open the plastic packaging of something I recently bought, I see myself throwing it away. I think to myself, couldn’t the designers of this product have thought of a more earth friendly way to put it on the shelf? With the Designers Accord, hopefully now they’ll think of new ways to do that. I’m pleased with the way Valerie Casey has tried to start a revolution. If it weren’t for this website, I never would have heard about it. For a first timer here, I’m having good thoughts about what I’ll read in the future.
