I agree that the handle component of the object is a MASSIVE design flaw of this solution. In order to encourage actual use of ANY object that will become part of Philadelphia’s (or any) urban landscape one must consider the end user. WHO was this object designed for? Clearly not the people. Elderly, children, people with their hands full — use must be ENCOURAGED. A receptacle must be as transparent as it is evident within the city—but most of all, it must be accessible.
