I’m worried as well that the selling points the government keeps pushing (this bill helps the environment) are not all that accurate. In the short term possibly, but the program does little to actually alter the habits of a personal-auto-economy. I’m torn by this bill as I enjoy that the government has put forth a bill which boosts the economy and has a tie in with environmental leanings (fuzzy math on this end).
Although I see this as a step in the right direction, doesn’t this promote a culture of consumption where the more one contributes the greater the reward? I would think there should be some sort of incentive to promote consuming less across the board.
How timely! Last night I had dinner with one of my ‘future’ business partners and we were discussing that we were in need of some resources much like what you’ve just described as the outline for your Star-Up section.I’m really looking forward to following these posts.
Oh my… I feel safer already!Robocop (beta)
