The Pediatric AIDS Coalition at UCLA is putting on our annual Dance Marathon in which committee members, students, friends, family, and community members alike all join together and take a literal stand against pediatric HIV/AIDS. Dance Marathon is a UCLA tradition of student empowerment, campus unity, and increased awareness by educating and unifying the UCLA community in the fight against pediatric AIDS.

Dance Marathon at UCLA (DM) is a 26-hour long dance-a-thon with the purpose of raising capital and awareness for the fight against pediatric AIDS. The first annual event took place in 2002 and, with only 180 dancers, raised more than $27,000. Today, it is the largest student-run philanthropic event on the West Coast, having raised $3.5 million in its 12 year history. Money raised by participants is donated to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Project Kindle, and the UCLA AIDS Institute.

Join the fight, K(NOW) the cause.
