Day 22: Take Your Time

When
March 22, 2013

With only 24 hours in the day to do everything that we need, sometimes it seems that there's no other way to get everything finished other than by giving it half of what it deserves. Whether it be our focus, patience, or effort, its always easier to rush through the task at hand, simply to say that we got it finished, rather than having to ask for extra time or a rain check. And, of course, we can argue that it's not our fault; deadlines and time frames do exist after all (and with good reason), but if we always feel as though we're rushing against the clock instead of working with it, chances are, if we've only invested half of ourselves with the task at hand, we'll only reap half of the rewards. So even though somedays it might feel as though our entire day is running against the clock, take the time to invest yourself fully and see how much more satisfied and complete you feel with the end product or encounter.
