Detroit, Told in a Social Map of Distressed Property Taxes

At LOVELAND we often say that if you think of cities as Kickstarters, and taxes as a form of crowdfunding, one look at the Tax Distress Map would suggest Detroit's potential backers don't seem to want to see this project funded.

You can click any property on the Tax Distress Map and see exactly how much it owes. You can also use the draw tool in the upper right corner of the map to draw a border around an area of the city and get statistics on that region.
