Because one person can make a difference!

33 people join a team. Each donates $3.33 a day for 3 months which ends up equalling $10,000. The $10,000 builds a school in Kenya and as a team member you get to see the school being built, see videos of the kids who will attend your school, and even spark the opportunity to travel to your school and visit the children.

We've started a team. Wanna join us?

just did it. way to go. kind of dig the simplicity of this. what happens if we don't get to the full goal by the deadline?

    • Krysta Francoeur

Thanks so much Ben!! I believe they extend the deadline for us:) I think it just promoting idea of 33 people $3.33 a day for 3 months and in 33 days. I'll find out more for you though to be certain.

word. I dig it. just pushed it out to my facebook friends as well so we'll see if they're real friends or not. regardless, hell yeah. thanks for inciting this.

This is really cool Krysta. It's amazing that you're doing this. The one thing I want to bring up though is - I find that so many people want to make change in Africa though- when we also really have issues in America as well. Many schools have been shut down in Chicago and it's truly sad that low-income neighborhoods in our country aren't getting fulfilling educations. Check out this article that breaks down what's wrong with Chicago's school closings- just to open up your perspective: http://www.good.is/posts/what-s-wrong-with-chicago-s-school-closings-watch-this-9-year-old-break-it-down

I totally agree with you Alessandra. This is my first crowdfunding project and I love the concept but I definitely try to get involved at home too. I live in Canada where our school system is fairly healthy by US comparison. I'm excited at the possibilities of my next project where I'm planning on doing something more local:) Thanks for the article!

Great to hear your perspective. Would love to know more about why you decided to pick this particular project. Also- it would be great to hear more about Canada's schools.
