'1 Liter of Light' project illuminates thousands of Filipino homes with recycled bottles

Often big ideas are those that guarantee the best outcome with minimal effort.
This idea, which has brought light in a lot of Philippines’ bidonville, can be defined with just one word: brilliant!
By a simple plastic bottle filled with water and bleach, Isang Litrong Liwanag (the name of the organization behind this project) “has uplifted the quality of life of thousand of impoverished families in the Philippines who have no access to electricity".
