In Brooklyn, some simple urban interventions remind everyone that history isn't just major events, but the more mundane details of life. The designer is posting official-looking historic notices all over Brooklyn, reminding passerby that a storage unit was one a roller rink, or another street corner once housed a magazine whose readers helped raise money to buy radium for Madame Curie.
