"Stephen LaPorte and Mahmoud Hashemi have created this real-time map showing which Wikipedia entries are being edited and roughly where the user is located. In reality the notifications only account for about 15 per cent of the changes to the site as it only traces IP addresses of unregistered users, but it’s still oddly fascinating to sit and watch these random flashes, from this huge diverse mass of information, pop up around the globe."
