Adaptive Martial Arts Empowers Those with Disabilities

Here is an example of something near and dear to my heart, martial arts. Applied to modern day positive growth the Willow Foundation for Adaptive Martial Arts teaches a self-defense class at the Abington YMCA for people with disabilities. Kenn Perry, black belt, who contracted polio at age 3, leads the class. In an age where many martial arts are fueled by aggression and ego, here is an organization that aims towards personal growth, development and actualization. Bravo Adaptive Martial Arts!
