Architect Uses 3D Scan to Help Monks Recreate 12th-Century Church

Scott Page uses 3D scanning tech to create incredibly detailed images of buildings, and now he's using that technology to help monks in Spain recreate a monastery originally built in 1181. The building was partly destroyed in the 1930s when William Randolph Hearst dismantled some of it and shipped it to his home in California. Check out some of Page's amazing images here, both of the monastery and other buildings, like a block in San Francisco.
