Back to School: Make a Learning Music Soundtrack #30DaysofGOOD

Submit your favorite songs about school, music you've enjoyed reading or studying to, or songs that are educational in and of themselves.

30 Days of GOOD (#30DaysofGOOD) is our monthly attempt to live better. This month we're going "Back to School" and committing to learn something new every day.

In previous 30 Days of GOOD challenges, we've asked you to help us create a cooking soundtrack and a playlist of songs to fall asleep to. Your enthusiasm for putting together perfect, mood-setting collections of music has made these projects great successes (and really fun for me to work on).

Playing on this month's Back to School theme, today's task is for all of us to put our heads together and compile a "learning music" soundtrack. It can include songs about school, music you've enjoyed reading or studying to, or songs that are educational in and of themselves. (My choice for that last category is "Figure Eight," Blossom Dearie's contribution to the awesome Schoolhouse Rock! canon. Who knew multiplication tables could be so gorgeously haunting?)

Post your choices in the comments section of this post. We'll compile the best suggestions submitted between now and August 27 and post them here as GOOD's Back to School Playlist.

Oh, and if you're a Spotify user, make sure to subscribe to our previous two soundtracks: GOOD's "Sleep Better" Bedtime Playlist and GOOD's "Make Your Own Meals" Cooking Playlist.
