Freelance designer Gabriele Diamanti even created this solar-powered distiller for use in coastal areas in the third world that are deprived of freshwater. It is half as expensive and 67% more efficient than existing models, and his hope is that local manufacturers will adopt the open-source design and mass-produce it for local populations.

    That's a really fun list. Not quite sure about the TechPet, but the rest of the stuff is amazing. And a nice range of the fanciful and totally relevant and world changing.

    Also, i would love to see one of those indoor clouds in real life.
