    Thanks for sharing your story! I think it is awesome that you used local techniques (instead of Western tradition) to create a wonderful, useful building. I actually think it's neat that you introduced a new aesthetic.

    Those are fantastic points that you make about placing yourself in the community you're going to be doing work in. Thats something that I think would in the end create a finished project based on both the community and the outsiders collaborative effort and I think that is stronger than latching strongly to one or the other. This is a great project as well, i've enjoyed following it. Good job
