I really like the point of creative people being super curious and that curiosity leading to spontaneous ideas. When thinking about how to encourage more creativity, especially in schools, how can we enhance curiosity?

I think curiosity can only be cultivated if we give children new things to discover. For them, it's difficult to explore a new topic when it's always presented in the same fashion: workbooks, lectures, reading material, homework, essays, pop quiz, exam. Following that same trajectory with different thought content buries the inspiration the topic could provide.

Instead, we could make the learning tactics more experiential, and integrate key topics outside of the classroom - like in afterschool activities or excursions.

Also - flip the concept of learning on its head and let kids decide the content worth learning, and present it to the class.
