    One of the key points of the demographic is to point out that just hiring more bodies to fill teaching spots in the classroom is not the answer. Teacher-prep programs MUST be improved to prepare our teachers for the complexities of today's classrooms. Quality is as important as quantity. With a 50% attrition rate of our teachers within the first 5 years, we must focus on better teaching conditions and better training to retain our best educators.
