Dan Pallotta has an uncanny ability to put into words what so many of us in the charity world have been unable to articulate: why the way we do charity is "dead wrong." In this article, Pallotta describes how fundamentals of capitalism ("compensation, marketing, risk taking, time horizons, and capital itself") can and should be applied to charity.
