Forget rap and the NFL, this Watts teen has iPhone apps in mind

Juan Vasquez

YES, this is super inspiring to see this happening at Locke and I love that you all are teaching kids to be tech innovators instead of just consumers. Do you happen to know Leslie Aaronson over at Foshay Tech Academy. If not, you should connect with her/cross pollinate your efforts.

Hi Liz! We're big on promoting critical thinking so that our teens, like you said, become innovators instead of consumers. Ownership and knowing that we can create is so important. Glad you enjoyed the blog.
I don't think we've connected with Leslie. Would you do an email intro?

      • Liz Dwyer

Would love to. I was just checking out your website--you all are doing a lot of amazing stuff! Would love to learn more about it. Email me at liz at goodinc dot com so I have your email address and then I'll connect you to Leslie.

Thanks, Liz! Explore our youtube channel (www.youtube.com/teensandtech), you'll see and hear more directly from our teens. I'm sending you an email in a few minutes with our Fact Sheet & FAQ. Happy Monday!
