I don’t reflect on the Iraq War’s 10th anniversary because that is a wrong date. The Iraq War began in August 1990 when Iraq invaded Kuwait and continued all through the 1990’s and the early 21st century right up until March 2003 when the U.S. and its allies put troops on the ground. The reality is you’re looking at a 20 plus year war. If you don’t know and understand that you can’t really do an analysis of what worked and what didn’t in our national security policy.
