Gasoline Runs Short, Adding Woes to Superstorm Recovery


Four days after Hurricane Sandy, the effort to secure enough gas for the region moved to the forefront of recovery work. Generators remain the the lone source of power and heat to many homes across the region, and taxis the main mode of transportation in NY.
