These cushy golden parachutes certainly are a tough pill to swallow for so many students and their families who scrounge to make tuition payments. What's also striking is that nowadays the actual work of teaching is being done by adjuncts who make so little and receive no benefits for their work. Folks are ending up feeling like they're paying big bucks not for the quality of instruction at a school, but so these presidents and other administrators can have these sweet exit packages.
