Green Energy Investments at Work: Wind Farm Operating Costs Fall 38% in Just Four Years

Some investments take time to be realized. It seems that the world's investment in wind technology is beginning to pay off through plummeting operating costs. Due to investments in turbine efficiency research and siting data collection and analysis, the cost of operating a wind farm has fallen by nearly 40% in just four years—making the clean technology better able to compete with the price of energy from fossil-fuels.

Pres. Obama is pushing for more investments in this technology.
