What a great study! I work with an organization called Pet Care Trust that gives grants to teachers to purchase classroom pets through their program Pets in the Classroom. We've heard numerous accounts from teachers on how their classroom pet has helped changed the behavior of students and the overall classroom atmosphere. If there are teachers out there who would like to learn more about getting classroom pets, check out www.petsintheclassroom.org.
