Great insights about how to start and getting going on learning to code!

Jennifer Dewalt is an artist that taught her self how to program by creating 180 websites in 180 days. She has been featured in publications such as Fast Company and Ars Technica. This interview talks about the days leading up to the project, how she made it through, and what is next.

Here's the 180 websites, website: http://jenniferdewalt.com/

Anybody know of any other self-directed code projects?

Really inspiring. I'd like to make coding more of a habit and having a goal to build a website totally makes sense!

I started coding in October. I've learned enough to understand, but I haven't learned enough to write a whole program from scratch like Jennifer. I really appreciated in the video in the link when she explains how she made that transition from-general knowledge to from-scratch.
