In 2007, Nolita released an ad starring model Isabelle Caro, openly suffering from anorexia. Her skeletal image, with vertebrae and facial bones protruding, shocked viewers and drew worldwide attention. She passed away three years later at 28. Star Models of Brazil has since released a graphic ad campaign with the tag line 'Say no to anorexia' hoping to highlight to young girls the unrealistic expectations of the fashion industry and promote healthy body image.
