    You can't control everything. This article provides guidelines but they're not necessarily guarantees. If you're one to dine out a lot, you're never really sure how many ingredients are getting added to your plate. On the other hand, if you dine in quite a bit (like me), then stay away from things packaged in a box, can, or jar.

    If you see a Nutrition Facts label, look at how long the list of ingredients is...if you can't recognize 1-2 items...put that baby back on the shelf. I do think it's possible to switch to a unprocessed food diet...but it's basically asking you to never have any fun with your food and possibly asking to commute further out of the way to get to nature's finest.

    You should be able to indulge and be lazy every now and then. (My soft spot is instant oatmeal during a rushed breakfast or lunch.)
