Kibo Robo Project: Human-like Helper

Later this year Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata will take command of the International Space Station. Joining him will be the first Kibo Robot, Kirobo, named on February 28, 2013. Kirobo will be a little helper, able to recognize faces, speak Japanese and perform simple tasks. While a robot could be made to look like anything, Kibo Robo Project's design team made the Kibo Robos to look a specific way so that "It has more humanity," Takahashi said. I for one approve.
