Thanks to the GOOD community for your support and encouragement. The project is down to less than 24 hours now! Soon the real work can begin. Thanks to all.

Alessandra- Thanks for thinking of us! With the amazing boost from the Kickstarter project we are off to a great start. It has been a very busy past couple of months. We've found an old lobster-style boat for our working platform, planted our first 30,000 seed and found a shoreside homebase! There are updates (and pictures!) on our website too. More great stuff to come. I'll make sure to keep you posted.

Great story! We have a responsibility to take care of our waters. Reviving the bay with sustainable (and delicious!) farming will great on several levels. Congrats!

I love this story. The history of the Peconic Bay is so interesting and it's good to see that there's a program in place to get it going again.
