Now that you've collected all this information, how do you plan on executing solutions on a bigger scale? Are you working with financial institutions to create curriculums for high schools, for example?

During the upcoming spring and fall 2014 semesters I will be a part of an elite undergraduate professional program within the College of Business at North Dakota State University called the Legacy program. A small group of other members including myself will be in collaboration with a local financial institution in developing and implementing a financial literacy program for high school students. I will be able to implement what I learned from the Millennial Trains Project when working on this curriculum to come up with a creative solution to helping high school students become more financially literate and engaged.

Looking forward to seeing it. I know that as someone who didn't get a credit card till after college, I regretted the fact that I hadn't built a credit history. However, I was thankful that I had set up a savings account. At the same time, though, I would have loved to learn more about how to optimize my investments properly.
