Corey, i really really hope you can achieve it. We all want to grow independent and return our parents all the love (and money) they invested on our hapiness, education and lifes. But, you are taking to a much greater level and that's incredible. Your story (and your mom's effort) really deserve a happy "ending"... or a start, in this case :)

This is the most awesome thing I've read in quite some time. I'm so glad you are so driven to accomplish these goals, I hope you never lose faith and know that your efforts will pay off! I'm rooting for you =)

You have a generous, kind and ambitious spirit, and I greatly admire everything you've already done and are setting out to do. And while I wish you all best at achieving your goal, I also hope you maintain your spirit and drive if you don't get there by 25 and keep persevering.

Some of my "big, hairy, audacious goals" (thanks Paris in LA, love that term) didn't turn out the way I hoped or took longer or I failed the first or second or third time, and as hard as it was to pick myself up, I am really glad I didn't let them go.

    This absolutely made my day.

This is so awesome! Way to set a "big, hairy, audacious goal" and go for it! I've seen a couple of other friends and bloggers set some big goals such as paying off $80,000 student loan debt in 1 year and paying off other debts by moving (their husband and children) back in with their parents. All of them very inspiring, but I am super touched by how generous, giving, and large your goal is. Can't wait to follow your journey and see the results! Good luck!

You are a beautiful, beautiful person. I am on the same path along with my younger brothers and sister. Mom raised us single-handedly and we want to show our gratitude by making sure she never has to worry about another bill. I wish you the best of luck on your journey and thank you for remember and honoring your mother's sacrifice.

    Sincerely,

    Sequoia

I hope you get the chance to actually retire your mom. It seems like a long road ahead, but it seems like your success has been pretty accelerated.

      If I didn't believe it was possible, I would've quit a long time ago. I won't stop until I do. :)
