One Day on Earth: A Video Time Capsule for the Entire World (This Weekend)

We're just days away from One Day on Earth, when people in every country in the world will record footage of the human experience. Here's a new video.

We're just a few days away from One Day on Earth, which we've mentioned before, and which has the potential to be the largest participatory media event in history. What does that mean? It means that on October 10, 2010, people from every country in the world will record videos to convey something personal about the human experience; clips from that footage will be assembled into a single film. The most recent trailer for the project has me pretty excited.

October 10, 2010 also happens to be the day of the Global Work Party and CicLAvia, either of which would be good candidates for footage.
