Paris' Bikeshare System Makes Any US Counterpart Look Like a Joke

Sure, the Parisians are easy to pick on and yes, the emerging bikeshare scenes in big US cities are very worth celebrating. But look at the numbers. Every second, one of Paris' bikes are checked out, adding up to 173 million rides since 2007. There's one of these shareable bikes in Paris for every 97 residents. The ratio in NYC is 8,336 to 1. We tip our hats to you Paris. Show us the way.
